Installed is a large solar PV arraygenerating a total of 290kW with a total surface area of 2,300m². This has been a very positive marketing exercisefor Badenova the regional power company.© SustainablePlanet.com.auThe Solar Stadium was financed by a partnership between the local team SC Freiburg andBadenova, which offered public shares in the project. They also continue their awarenessand/or marketing campaign by offering investors in the project season tickets. It is a similarscheme for investors of the PV system with the added bonus that these panels feed the gridand earn excellent income by doing so, particularly since the feed-in is the highest payingand paid on gross production.Badenova is jointly owned by a number of regional municipalities and a natural gascompany, created an opportunity for citizens that wanted to install Solar PV and either hadno roof space or lived in apartment style accommodation. There are opportunities offeredfor investment subsidy of about €300 for customers who want to install PV panels.
