gesis® RANgesis® PLAN 3D for the presentation.Display of the planning. The gesis PLAN demonstration and planningsoftware is a tool for conveniently designing andcalculating pluggable electrical installations withgesis. The software supports specialist plannersas well as system integrators, architects andclients in the electrical design of buildings. The software imports the existing DWG/DXF drawingsof the rooms and building parts to be installed. Therequired consumers, such as lamps, sockets, rollerblinds etc., are placed into the 3D view on the PC, andgesis ELECTRONIC components, gesis RAN distributorunits and gesis NRG flat cables are wired with onlya few mouse-clicks. The recommended connectorencoding is automatically taken into account, andthe compliance with standards is checked. Theinstallation is also calculated regarding permittedcurrents, voltage drops or selectivity. Possibleproblems are immediately indicated by the software. As a result, the planner receives an item list withexactly calculated cable lengths and price details. The gesis PLAN software serves as efficient planningaid for functional buildings with flexible use of spaceand facility management and its usage is not onlyreasonable for new buildings. For building renovationit supports the reliable preliminary planning throughexact calculations. Without expert knowledge theuser can start right away; software wizards guidehim accurately through the various screens. The uniquely convenient solution does notonly take into account the electrotechnicalinstallation requirements, but is also capable ofsimulating the spatial conditions due to beams, additional walls, columns, and automaticallytakes them into account for cabling. This is based on the experience of many years by theWieland project support. It is possible to plan not onlyindividual rooms, but also stories and entire buildings.29

gesis® RAN30

gesis® RANDocumentation and plans.Implementing the requirements. The flexible use of buildings does not only requirean appropriate design during construction. Thedocumentation of the installed systems must meetthese requirements.Documenting the installed components plays a vitalrole. Wieland generates assembly and wiring plansfor each individual distributor unit. All designationsfor inputs and outputs as well as details on theinstallation location are documented here.We strictly follow your specified needs andrequirements. You will receive a completedocumentation of your plant, which you can useto plan inspections, maintenance and extensionsin advance without taking an inventory on site. This creates planning safety across the entirelifecycle of the building.31

gesis® RANComplete Capability. From the order to delivery.Sophisticated Logistics.Delivery can be made directly to the construction site,if required, depending on the requirements even asindividual deliveries per floor or construction phase.Delivery on schedule in accordance with exactplanning is the prerequisite for order picking ondemand. Warehousing or warehousing costs on theconstruction site is thus eliminated. You can count on our experience. Our service team and the project support byWieland offers comprehensive advice for optimizingthe distributor units for a cost-efficient andflexible solution.Everything pre-configured.Based on pre-parameterization of the built-inautomation devices,■■the travel time parameterization,■■the dimming area restrictions and■■the cycle timesare determined in advance. The physical nodes (KNX)can be assigned in the factory. With the detailed specifications, the distributionboxes are simply installed on site, integrated into theautomation system, and do not have to be openedagain.Selecting the appropriate control codings enablestime-saving installation on site.32
