To protectthe belt’s inner components, the tough, long wearing coveris fully oil and heat resistant.Insulation Section — This section is designed to protect andsupport the tensile cords. The insulation section also actsas an adhesion layer that, when cured, fuses the tensilecords to the compression section so the belt componentscan’t separate.Tensile Cords — Ultra high strength polyester cords assurefatigue resistance and length stability. Each cord ischemically treated to bond to the insulation andcompression sections, welding all components together forlong service life.C o m p ression Section — The compression section isspecially compounded for flexibility to reduce heat build upwhile bending around sheaves. This design gives a coolerrunning, longer lasting belt. The belt’s inner components are protectedagainst dirt, oil, and heat by the long wearing cover.Insulation Section — This section provides cord support andprotection, while bonding the tensile cords to the upper andlower components for the longest possible belt life.Tensile Cords — Extra strong polyester tensile cords aretreated for fatigue and stretch resistance.
