WHAT'S THE "SECRET" BEHIND<br />
MICRO-GROOVE'S SUPER-ACCURACY?<br />
This basic improvement in rifling, discovered and developed<br />
by Marlin engineers, is superior to conventional<br />
rifling in two important respects. How they boost accuracy<br />
so sharply is no secret!<br />
1 Micro-Groove Rifling is not produced by cutting. The<br />
unique method used creates a smoother, more perfe"<br />
bore surface.<br />
2 Micro-Groove Rifling consists of 16 shallow grooves<br />
-not 4 or 6 deep ones. The projectile remains truer to<br />
its original shape, with less "firming" and a smoother<br />
surface.<br />
The truer, more consistent Micro-Groove projectile is<br />
also less affected by muzzle blast. In addition, barrel<br />
