Why You Should Attend<br />

Because the majority of people with diabetes <strong>and</strong> thyroid<br />

disease are cared for by their primary care providers, PCPs<br />

need a comprehensive review <strong>and</strong> update on cl<strong>in</strong>ical<br />

management to provide optimal care. This annual <strong>CME</strong><br />

course, <strong>in</strong>itiated more than century ago by Elliott P. Josl<strong>in</strong>,<br />

MD, <strong>in</strong> conjunction with Harvard Medical School, is the<br />

longest-runn<strong>in</strong>g academic course <strong>in</strong> diabetes <strong>in</strong> the United<br />

States <strong>and</strong>, likely, the world. The course has evolved with<br />

diabetes practice <strong>and</strong> research as well as the chang<strong>in</strong>g<br />

cont<strong>in</strong>u<strong>in</strong>g education needs of the medical profession,<br />

<strong>in</strong>corporat<strong>in</strong>g participant <strong>in</strong>teraction <strong>in</strong> smaller breakout<br />
