The Swedish automotive industry has its strongest presence in the <strong>Göteborg</strong> <strong>Region</strong>/Western Sweden. The combined resources<br />
of industry, academia and the public sector have been brought together in a number of successful projects, such as<br />
Centers of Excellence. These centres work in areas such as environment, hybrid, safety, telematics and textiles. The region<br />
is also host to three technology centres: Lindholmen Science Park, Innovatum Technology Park and Gothia Science Park.
