The Mobile Transportation Technology segment represents the product groups door systems for buses,<br />

door systems for railway vehicles and fittings for sliding vehicle doors.<br />

Innovation and a high degree of standardisation safeguard the position as European market leader in the<br />

field of door systems for both city buses and travel coaches. The <strong>Group</strong> supplies complete door systems<br />

including electronic controls and boarding aids, enabling customers to select from a broad range of products.<br />

The components can be optimally combined with each other to suit the requirements of the customer.<br />

Standardised and modular door systems for railway vehicles covers the railway industry's entire range of<br />

requirements and satisfies individual customer needs at the same time.<br />

The product group fittings for sliding vehicle doors comprises guiding systems for sliding side doors<br />

designed for both commercial vans and passenger cars.<br />

The Rail Infrastructure business field primarily manufactures the product group level crossing safety<br />

systems. In addition to the well-proven, fully electronic level crossing system, a broad range of technically<br />

mature signal components are offered. Products of the vehicle equipment sector have been tried and<br />

tested for decades in high-speed trains, locomotives, traction units and passenger coaches. Warning<br />

equipment for vehicles used by authorities and rescue services as well as for civil management and<br />

disaster control are sold throughout Europe. Maritime aids have been a guarantee of safety both on the<br />

open seas and inland waterways for over 140 years.<br />

The Components segment comprises the product groups connectors, snap-action switches, contactors and<br />

control devices. All products in this business field are manufactured to meet highest specifications for<br />

a wide variety of niche applications.<br />

Connectors are vital components in many fields of communication and railway technology as well as in<br />

industrial trucks and numerous other industrial applications.<br />

Snap-action switches are known for their high reliability, long service life, dependability and above all for<br />

their positive opening operation feature.<br />

Contactors are required wherever high-voltage applications need to be switched using low voltage.<br />

Contactors dependably perform this task both in industrial trucks and emergency power systems as well<br />

as in locomotives and traction units.<br />

Control Devices are specially designed for the requirements of railway vehicles and play an important role<br />

in their safe and comfortable operation.<br />
