Thisapplication puts you in the context of bliskand impeller machining and offers a set ofautomated, process-specific functions thatsimplifies the generation of smart toolpaths for these types of parts. Theapplication steps you through the processof programming with the specializedoperations for 5-axis roughing, rest millingand finishing of blades, splitters and hubs.Precise control is provided for details suchas cut patterns, cut level offsets, edgetreatments, tool angle, smoothing optionsand optimized non-cutting moves. Builtinto NX CAM, this application is completewith simulation, tool path optimizationand a wide range of supporting functions.New interactive programming controlsYou can use manually-driven tool axis andtool path control capabilities to rapidlycreate and adjust tool paths with a “virtualjog mode” interaction.
