Career CounselingCareer CounselingCareer counseling helps students discover their true potential and interest in various subjects in order to help them choosethe right career. The guidance given to a student is based on three deciding factors -- personality, aptitude and interest.Career counseling given at Biztek aims at discussing the pros and cons of each profession with the student and the family,so that a well-informed decision can be taken jointly. If students feel confused about which field to step into, or concernedabout whether they are suited to a particular career they can easily seek help from the career counselors.Information of vacancies in organizations is provided to the students/alumni via the bulletin boards and e-groups. Theresumes are reviewed and the paperwork is facilitated by the department.Student Affairs DepartmentThe Student Affairs department provides students with opportunities to discover their potential, learn soft skills andmature into responsible citizens of the world. The focus is on personal development of the students through academic,social, cultural, and recreational activities. All students are encouraged to participate in these activities.The importance of practical work experience cannot be emphasized and therefore the students are encouraged to volunteerat all events. This provides hands-on-training and strengthen their resumes. Students are also provided guidance forparticipating in various national and international events.Event Management DepartmentThe Event Management Department is responsible for enriching students with co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.To enhance their professional development and to groom their personality different Conferences, Seminars, Workshops,Talk shows and Debates on a range of subjects are regularly arranged. Musical Programs, Festivals, Picnics and Movieshows are also organized from time to time.Clubs & SocietiesAll students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities in the campus. A variety of clubs and societies havebeen formulated and a permanent office assists and facilitate the student. Bulletin Boards carry current information onco-curricular activities and events. Students may take membership in Media Society, Sports Society, Debate Society,Marketing Society, Adventurer & Entertainment Society, Entrepreneur Society and the IEEE.Biztekian VisionA quarterly newsletter is published by the Institute. It elaborates on the activities held in every quarter. Main contributorsof this newsletter are mostly students of the Institute.
