FacilitiesLibraryIn any university library is the first essential after classrooms. In modern times we see that ideas and innovations comefrom reading of books upon which sufficient research is done to convert the idea into practical reality. It has been proventhat the classroom lectures need to be complemented with library consultations. Lectures are understood only afteradequate assimilation at the library. Therefore, library is an essential element of all our campuses where admirably stockedlibraries remain open during working hours. Our libraries also give access to internet enabling students to refer to internetwhile referring books at library. There are four sections of this library:FacilitiesReference SectionThe reference section comprises dictionaries, encyclopedias and syndicated studies as well as government publications.Such data are essentially required for writing research papers and while completing any project or assignments. Thereference section undergoes continuous improvements and with the passage of time the collection grows richer.Periodical SectionAs the name specifies, periodical section is for periodicals, newspapers, magazines, etc. This section subscribes the leadingdailies, weeklys and monthlys. It has subscription of well reputed international business and computer magazines likeHarvard Business Review, Business Week, Newsweek, Time, and the IEEE Transactions. It subscribes to selected researchperiodicals of importance published in Pakistan as well as internationally.Book SectionThe book section contains all the relevant books required by our faculties. The section contains books on ManagementSciences, Social Sciences, Computer Science , IT, Engineering and Media Sciences. In addition to course books, the librarykeeps management classics for its students. These include autobiographies, biographies and books of general interests.The library has a rich collection of books and it keeps adding on to its resources on an ongoing basis.Online SectionBiztek's library has RFID link, and access to more than 17,500 research journals of international repute and recognitionthrough the digital library program of Higher Education Commission (HEC). Students need to consult these researchjournals while writing their research reports and thesis. Our libraries have separate sections of Research Journals of allthe faculties. Journals are well stocked as per the approved lists of Higher Education Commission (HEC).27
