Fügen, Fügenberg and Hochfügen<br />

as far as Arzjoch mountain lake - the trail then goes to the ski hut _ at the<br />
ski hut the trail enters the woods and continues downhill as far as the midstation<br />
and/or Gasthof Kohleralmhof (alternative: take the wide track from<br />
the ski hut to the mid-station). From the mid-station, you proceed initially<br />
on the asphalt road down towards the valley - before reaching the Obergäns<br />
mountain farmstead turn into the trail through the wood (past Gasthof Sonnenberg)<br />
to Fügen.<br />
Spieljoch - Kellerjoch circular walk (AV 312) Trail No. 8, Time: Spieljoch<br />
mountain station - Kellerjoch - Spieljoch mountain station approx. 5 hours<br />
The trail goes initially from the Spieljoch mountain station to the Geolsalm and<br />
then on to the Gartalm (1830 m third-level pasture).<br />
From there the trail runs through treeless terrain (please note pathside markings<br />
– rocks or stones) to the Kellerjoch mountain hut. The Kellerjoch can<br />
boast the finest panoramic views of the Inn valley (2,344 m). From the Kellerjoch,<br />
take either the Alpine Path (AV 312) to the Spieljoch lift or return via<br />
the same route.<br />
WARNING! If you take the return route to the Spieljoch lift via the Alpine Path<br />
(ALPIN-STEIG), speak first to the warden at the Kellerjoch hut. This path is<br />
ONLY for experienced, fully-equipped mountain climbers.<br />
Spieljoch mountain station – Exhibition mine Trail No. 8a<br />
Time: Mountain station – Exhibition mine approx. 3/4 hour<br />
If you would like a tour of the exhibition mine, the newly-laid Miners‘ Path<br />
(Knappensteig) goes straight from the mountain station to the galleries<br />
(1783m).<br />

Spieljoch mountain station – Hochfügen Trail No. 10<br />
Time: Mountain station – Hochfügen approx. 3 1/2 hours<br />
Take the gondola lift to the Spieljoch mountain station - a gravel path runs<br />
from the mountain station to the Spieljoch. From here, the trail continues to<br />
the Geolsalm and then on to the Gartalm (1830 m third-level pasture). The<br />
Gartalm is a natural gem. Cows and sheep are in the grazing area every day.<br />
Fauna to observe include golden eagles, chamois, marmots and mountain<br />
hares. The 400-year-old Alpine hut still bears witness to the days of silver<br />
mining: a mountain track with the Tyrolean provincial government crest.<br />
From the Gartalm, continue through treeless terrain to the Gamssteinhaus<br />
(Loassattel 1683 m) - pass the Gamsteinhaus and continue towards the<br />
Maschentalalm - Lamarkalm - and on to Hochfügen.<br />
You can, of course, do the work in reverse from Hochfügen to the Spieljoch<br />
lift mountain station. By bus to Hochfügen and then on the Spieljoch lift back<br />
to Fügen (see Spieljoch lift fares – Spieljoch-Hochfügen circular walking<br />
ticket).<br />
Spieljoch lift mountain station - Schellenberg – Hochfügen Trail No. 11<br />
Time: Mountain station – Hochfügen approx. 3 1/2 hours<br />
Take the gondola to the Spieljoch mountain station - a gravel path runs for<br />
a short distance down from the mountain station. Approx. 200 m below the<br />
mountain station the trail continues to the Geolsalm - and then from here via<br />
the Gartalm first level pasture and on to the Schellenbergalm (Schellenberg<br />
café).<br />
Take the asphalt road for a short distance from Schellenberg café towards<br />
Hochfügen - after approx. 300 m, the path branches off to the left into the<br />
Finsinggrund valley. Continue through the Finsinggrund valley on a gravel
