Gary Wheeler__________________Gary,Thought I was farther behind than it turns out——can lay THIS guilt trip to rest.I’ve been told since early 1970s Delanah Lord is the lady’s name?BUT—apparently, after reading your research, there is a question in your own line anyway, she was DelanahWheeler, and “fits”.Is it possible she was briefly a Wheeler, he died she married a brother/cousin, also a Wheeler?Happened a lot—the Thomas family and the Adams, rife with this— having done this both familially andprofessionally for probably longer than you are alive, it happened all the time. Proximity breeds a lotmore than contempt? The available death certificates for the kids go both ways—-which led me to wonder at the both being correct, bit— She was a Lord, a dble Wheeler. Course, she could havebeen a Wheeler, then md a Lord who died or took off—lot of that going around, too and then md Royal?Cora Adams Ballard, who, with my own gt. Grandmother Cora, whom I knew—had the reunions, kepthumongous journals, (burned in total in the front yard in Lordville by Cora’s nasty son, Col Ballard) said she wasa Lord. Altho I’ve caught Dr. Cora Adams Ballard in a few lies —of omission, you might say— her info hasalways proven to be correct. Not sure how we can solve it for certain one way or the other, But, I’ve added your dilemma into the notes, sothey reflect that all the information/family tree, is not actually set in cement?Sheila - Nov 2008Notes for ROYAL WHEELER:Wayne Co.
