Auction Rules<br />
Registration<br />
Check in at the registration table and get your<br />
packet with your bidding number. Don’t forget to<br />
use Express Checkout!<br />
Silent Auction<br />
All items in the Silent Auction have bid sheets<br />
nearby. To place a bid, write your bid number on<br />
the bid sheet. Most silent items will have a<br />
GUARANTEED BID amount. By signing your bid<br />
number in the guaranteed bid box, the bidding<br />
closes. Please write legibly. When the Auction closes,<br />
the highest bid is a legal contract to purchase the<br />
item.<br />
Live Auction<br />
Live Auction bidding will begin around 8 p.m. When<br />
bidding, hold up your bid number toward the<br />
auctioneer, so it can be seen.<br />
A signature or verbal bid during the Auction<br />
constitutes a legal contract to buy. All sales are final<br />
and there will be no exchanges or refunds unless<br />
indicated. In all cases of dispute, the decision of the<br />
Auction Steering Committee is final.<br />
Restrictions and Expiration<br />
Please pay attention to all conditions, restrictions<br />
and expiration dates on items and services. Except<br />
where noted by the donor, services, tickets,<br />
certificates, etc. must be used within one year of the<br />
Auction and are subject to mutually agreed upon<br />
times and dates. <strong>Eastside</strong> <strong>Catholic</strong> assumes no<br />
responsibility for travel arrangements. No refunds will<br />
be made for cancelled tickets or accommodations.
