We’ll hold off on combat in the north – I don’t think the odds will be that great and we plan onmaking a more concerted effort into Ferryville later. Plus most of the objective villages are to thesouth. The attack on Tebourba involves 34 attack factors with AR=3 (1 st Derby recon) [7T] vs. 7 x ½ = 3.5with AR=4 (3-5 FJ) [2T]. Surprise roll is an 11 which modifies to a 10 giving attacker surprise, witha resulting column shift of 3. This brings us to the 18:1 column (close terrain) with a -1 modifier inthe attack. Roll is 8 -1 = 7, which is Ae3 DL2o2DG. Axis lose the 3-5 FJ and 136 th assault gunbattalions and retreat the remaining 557 th assault gun battalion two hexes. Most of the attackingunits advance into Tebourba, and those with AR of 3 are marked with exploit mode markers.G. Exploitation PhaseThe US 1 st armored exploit mode units advance further, adjacent to Djedeida. The British exploitunits would need to pay for fuel since we didn’t fuel up the entire 6 th armored division earlier. Sothey sit in place. We also release the 81 st recon (US 1 st armored div) and move it up.We don’t feel we have enough strength to attack Djedeida and so won’t conduct any further combator barrages.H. Clean up phase.Remove DGs from Mateur and next to Ferryville. Remove fueled marker from US 1 st armored.III. Axis Turn 5A. Air refit phase1T to refit Tunis, 1T to refit Ferryville.29
