Over 40 exhibitors attracted nearly 600 visitorsand achieved some £3,000 worth of sales. The show isopen to all, including first-time exhibitors. A commissionon sales will go towards Horsley Church funds.This is timed to coincide with the Site 05 Open Studiostrail, a major annual event involving some 250 local artistsof all kinds. Being able to wander fromstudio to studio, taking in an immense variety of differentapproaches to ‘art’ is a great pleasure. As Matthew Fort,journalist and Guardian Food Editor, is quoted in thebrochure ‘There is a fabulous vitality of Arts in theStroud area’. Of the 88 sites included, 14 are in<strong>Nailsworth</strong>, 3 in Woodchester and 5 in Horsley - in anarea which stretches from Painswick to Uley and fromFrampton on Severn to Chalford. The brochure isexcellent and includes a map and a small illustrated entryfor each site. You can take a 3 hour minibus tour fromthe Stroud Subscription Rooms on four of the days.<strong>Nailsworth</strong> tours are on Sunday 12th at 11am and Sunday19th at 3pm.
