Hugs System ComponentsReceiversReceivers are radio frequency reception devices installed at regular intervalsthroughout the monitored area of the facility. Receivers receive the Hugs tagtransmissions (within a 35 - 50 ft radius), time stamp them, and relay them tothe Patient Security Server via a LonWorks network. Receivers are installed inceilings, usually out of view.The Patient Security Server monitors the operation of each Receiver to ensure ahigh level of operational confidence.
