They are written on differentmaterials like birch bark, palm leaf and handmadepaper. Many old and important manuscriptshave already been edited and published and someare in process of publication by the Institute. Thelatest publication to come out of the Institute wasAsvalayana Srautasutra in 3 volumes. One of theunique manuscripts of the Institute is a manuscript(photocopy) titled Sancha written in Pavuchi scriptwhich is presently not known to be available in anyother collection.
