10 THE PENNSYLVANIA ODD FELLOW <strong>Feb</strong>ruary 2007WALKER LODGE NO. 306 CELEBRATES THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS On Monday December 18 th 2006, Walker LoJge held it's annualChristmas dinner at Walker <strong>Lodge</strong>. There were approximately 75members and guests in attendance. As customary, there was a "HappyHour" withcondimentsfrom5:30 to 6:30PM before the dinner. Allproceeds from the Happy Hour were donated to the Visual EyeResearch witha matchingdonation from the Mary 1. Clay CharitableTrust Fund. Entertainment included Holiday music, videos <strong>of</strong> pastChildren's Christmas Party held atWalker <strong>Lodge</strong> and videos <strong>of</strong> someprevious Christmas dinners held at Walker <strong>Lodge</strong>. Special thanksgoes out to Brother Charles Balmer and his wife Judy who performtheir happy hour hosting duties for the event. TheChristmas dinnerwas followed by the 8 PM membership meeting. During the meeting,Brother Rick Meagher gave a report on Walker's custom <strong>of</strong>presentinga box <strong>of</strong> chocolate candy to all widows <strong>of</strong> deceased membersdistributed by committee members. During "Good <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Order</strong>", agroup picture <strong>of</strong> the membership in attendance was taken with OLlrpresent Noble <strong>Grand</strong> SisterJennifer Leah-Rosa at the center <strong>of</strong>theportrait. In F.L.&T., hope we can all do this again next year and withan increase in lodge membership on the rolls.
