Adams, chairperson of the UnitedNations Pilgrimage for Youth committee, introduced fourof the tenstudents that the Orphanage sponsored in 2006. The students wereKate Snyder and Amber Kern, both from Governor Mifflin HighSchool, Shillington, PA; Ashley lobb from H amhurg Area HighSchool, Hamburg, PA and Beanna Wong ofSchuylkill Valley HighSchool, leesport, P A. The girls gave a report of their trip this pastJuly. The tour started in Harrisburg and included the followingtowns and cities, Gettysburg, Middletown, Philadelphia, New YorkCity (four days), New Milford, Ct; Boston, MA; Danvers, MA;Salem, MA; Winthrop, MA; Burlington, VT; Kanata, ON; Ottawa,ON; Kingston, ON; Niagra Falls, ON and then back to Harrisburg,PA.The following Officers were elected for the 2006-2007 term.Craig Reinhard, President; Mary Landes, Vice President; Mae Haussler,Secretary; Nevin W. Reinhart, Snyder, Loeb, Kern, Wong, Chairman AdamsCLOVER LODGE #348The membe rs of Clover lodge #348, of the Independent Orderof Odd Fellows, Ambridge, recently completed a gathering of foodproducts for the WE CARE FOOD CUPBOARD of Baden UnitedMethodist Church. The food items collected amounted to 350 andwill feed approximately 50 families within the Beaver County area.This is the first community service project pel{ormed by theAmbridge lodge in many years and according to Brian Bomalik,Secretary, this project will continue and grow. "We are concernedfor the people in our communities and want to help." SecretaryDomalik stated, "We now have a base goal for the next food drive,it will only get better."We Care Food Cupboard is a non-profit agency that has nogovernment support.
