These inundation mappingstudies consider various mechanics related to coastal flooding: offshore water levels, waves, erosion, sealevel rise, and tsunamis. These coastal flood risks have major implications for public safety, and economicand environmental sustainability. Representatives from NOAA, FEMA, USGS, and the CGS will present theircoastal study goals and analysis methods during the first panel session.
