To the user the benefits that X-Lambda provides meanincreased productivity, reduced maintenance and a cleaner working environment.Technical Evolution of ANSI LAMBDAANSI X-LAMBDA chain is a quantum leap for power transmissiontechnology. The basic ANSI LAMBDA components (a specialcoated pin and oil-impregnated sintered bush) are complementedwith special felt seals (patent pending) between the inner andouter link plate that lock in lube while keeping dirt and abrasivesout.Connecting MethodWhen connecting the chain, use an ANSI X-LAMBDA chain connectinglink (with a felt seal). As shown in Fig. 11 insert felt sealsbetween the outer plate and the connecting link plate, thenattach the link.Connecting LinkBecause of this evolution ANSI X-LAMBDA chain greatly increasesthe performance of the ANSI LAMBDA chains. However, as the pins are longer than those of thestandard ANSI roller chain, please make sure that there is nointerference with the machine.Sprockets:Standard ANSI roller chain sprockets can be used.
