Compression TherapyInstructions for usePlace the foot ata right angle tothe leg and startthe first turn ofthe bandage atthe metatarsophalangealjoints andrun outwards.After 2-3 turnsaround the midfoot,the bandagecovers the heeland comes backto the instep overthe medial ankle.With each turn,first above andthen below, theedges of the firstheel wrap areadditionallysecured. After afurther turnaround the midfoot,the bandageis taken back tothe ankle andacross the anklejoint line.The bandage thenconforms to theleg spirally, widelyspread, in order toenclose the calf,drawn only in thedirection of application.From the poplitealspace, the bandageis wrappedone time aroundthe leg and fromthere follows theshape of the legback down, coveringany gaps inthe bandage.The second bandageis applied inthe oppositedirection startingfrom the outsidetowards the insideof the anklearound the heel.The further twoturns fix first theupper and thenthe lower edge ofthe heelwrap.Finally, the bandageis wrappedonce more aroundthe midfoot andthen spiralledupwards and backdown again in thesame way as thefirst one.
