Crucially, and unlike other products that stateuniversal input, the Centaur range will maintain full output power within the entire specified range.Aluminium epoxy powder coated cases with drip shield and stainless steel fixings withstand therigors of an adverse environment: heat, humidity and salt air. Circuit boards are protected withan acrylic coating for maximum corrosion resistance. Temperature sensors ensure that powercomponents will always operate within specified limitsFully automatic three stage charging that ensures batteries are fully charged every time. Threeisolated outputs to simultaneously charge 3 battery banks. Each output is capable to supply thefull rated current. All Centaur chargers are cooled by a temperature & current controlled fan. They also include ignition protection and a total output ammeter.volts Amps Banks Size (H x W x D)CCH024016000 24 16 3 14” x 8.5” x 4.3”CCH012020000 12 20 3 14” x 8.5” x 4.3”CCH012030000 12 30 3 14” x 8.5” x 4.3”CCH012040000 12 40 3 16.8” x 9.4” x 5.3”CCH012050000 12 50 3 16.8” x 9.4” x 5.3”CCH012060000 12 60 3 16.8” x 9.4” x 5.3”CCH024060000 24 60 3 19.9" x 10.0" x 5.2"CCH012100000 12 100 3 19.9" x 10.0" x 5.2"VictronPHOENIX BATTERy CHARGERS• Adaptive 4-stage charge characteristic: bulk – absorption – float – storage The Phoenixcharger features a microprocessor controlled ‘adaptive’ battery management system that canbe preset to suit different types of batteries. The ‘adaptive’ feature will automatically optimisethe process relative to the way the battery is being used.• The right amount of charge: variable absorption time. When only shallow dischargesoccur (a yacht connected to shore power for example) the absorption time is kept short inorder to prevent overcharging of the battery. After a deep discharge the absorption time isautomatically increased to make sure that the battery is completely recharged. If, in order to quickly charge a battery, a high charge current in combination with a highabsorption voltage has been chosen, the Phoenix charger will prevent damage due to excessivegassing by automatically limiting the rate of voltage increase once the gassing voltage has beenreached. The storage mode kicks in whenever the battery has not been subjected to discharge during24 hours. In the storage mode float voltage is reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for 12 V battery) tominimise gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week the voltage is raised back tothe absorption level to ‘equalize’ the battery. This feature prevents stratification of the electrolyteand sulphation, a major cause of early battery failure. Every Phoenix charger comes with abattery temperature sensor. In order to compensate for voltage loss due to cable resistance, Phoenix chargers are providedwith a voltage sense facility so that the battery always receives the correct charge voltage.Auto-ranging input covering 90-265vAC 50/60Hz input.volts Amps Banks Size (H x W x D)PCH012030001 12 30 3 13.8" x 7.9" x 4.3"PCH012050001 12 50 3 13.8" x 7.9" x 4.3"
