The <strong>STEINHAUER</strong> <strong>PWA</strong> is new and unique system to enlarge the productivity<br />
and give an additional impulse to the rationalisation of the workflow in a conventional<br />
panel building workshop.<br />
<strong>STEINHAUER</strong> e <strong>CAB</strong> <strong>PWA</strong> (<strong>PWA</strong> means Personal Wiring Assistant) is a local<br />
wiring workplace. The machine produces a required wire, where the worker<br />
needs it. The wire is automatically cutted to the specified length, the endings<br />
are fitted with ferrules if necessary.<br />
By comparison to a centralized solution (KOMAX, Schleuniger, Metzner) the<br />
<strong>STEINHAUER</strong> system produces the wire „just in time“. The way how the wire<br />
has to be installed into the switchboard cabinet, is visualised by software. It<br />
will do, that the worker takes a look at the display to get all assembly information<br />
– the knowledge to read wiring diagrams is not essential!<br />

The <strong>STEINHAUER</strong> e <strong>CAB</strong> <strong>PWA</strong> has the ability to process loose insulated ferrules<br />
from 0,5 up to 2,5 mm² (AWG 20-14) with a crimping length of 8 mm.<br />
An additional module allows to wind off larger cross-sections up to 10 mm 2<br />
with fully integration into the workflow with labelling and visualisation.<br />
The <strong>STEINHAUER</strong> e <strong>CAB</strong> <strong>PWA</strong> could be easily integrated into electrical CADsystems<br />
with routing capabilities like ePLAN Cabinet ® , H.O.S. ElSchrank ® and<br />
others.<br />
