2 n d QUARTER REPORT OF THE GUARDIAN ANGELS MOTHERLESS
BABIES HOME EMENE FROM APRIL - JUNE 2011.
We thank God for his mercy, Love and Kindness. He uses his
greatness to bless us and our children. We thank God for
what he is doing in this GBAM. We thank the Bishop C.V.C
Onaga for his concern. We thank our able Director Msgr. F.
O. Ike for his care, love and concern. Our greatest thanks to
our German- God - sent Benefactors whose love and concern
we cherish every day, may God continue to bless them for
ever.
Statistics:
The number of children is forty one
Boys 22
Mortality 1
Current No. 38
The children are recovering now. From June till now they are
receiving treatment from our visiting Doctor. At least now
we are having a very great improvement in their health. We
lost one of our babies in June this year.
We have a baby boy who was thrown inside the bush. The
boy was picked and was reported to Msgr. Obiora Ike our
Director who ordered them to bring the child to this home.
The boy is about two years. The boy cannot sit or stand. He
cannot laugh or walk about. Eating is even a problem. It
takes the boy forty - five minutes to one hour to finish his
food. Initially we have no hope of his surviving, but now
there is hope. This is his picture. His mouth is full of teeth,

no sign of immunization on the body. The boy has been
screed of HIV and proved negative.
The greatest achievement we have had here is that, the
child picked from the bush is improving infact he is picking
up. God is in control we thank him for that, the children is
recovering from their long time sickness for three months.
Renovation:
We do renovation every week and every month for damage
caused by the children
Problems: We
have many challenges facing us. And these challenges are
accommodation the children would have reached up to fifty
children in number so because of the accommodation we
are rejecting other babies coming
Finance:
we have no money to feed them. Only few are paying the
little amount they were asked to pay. And we have no money
to pay the workers if we implore more, otherwise we still
need workers.
Shunning away responsibility
When you ask the relations of the babies to come and take
them, you will not see them again; this is one of the reasons
of refusing to admit them in our home. We do not get enough
food items like milk to feed them. We normally buy them in
the market or we go to Holy child Motherless to beg them,
because they normally have enough food items and
pampers. We need bed sheet for the kids.
We need drugs also; if you look into our account under
medical you see that the figure is high. If we can get drug
donation it will reduce the drug expenses.
! still beg our director to allow me to buy an orthopedic foam
recommend by the hospital from GAMB account
The sisters need increment to meet up with their need and
demands.
