Their expert advice remains critical to theccess of our refereeing. They possess a great deal ofssion and enthusiasm; ours was to give them thecessary support.• Strengths- The various policies on selections, code of conductand transformation processes.- The representatives of the active referees.- A pool of retired referees with a wealth of experiencefrom all races to mend the various committees.- Network with developed countries for comparativestudies and benchmarking with special reference to theUK.- Support from CAF and FIFA that continue to hostcourses on our shores.- 52 SAFA regions to draw the pool of referees from.- Seasoned instructors.- Great enthusiasm from the experts.- Refereeing as a career.- A number of our referees doing duty at both CAF andFIFA tournaments.• Weaknessese also had several add hock committees to addressues on development, setting referees’ workshopntents, referees’ salary negotiating team and young- Financial resources, very little budget.- Lack of sponsorship.- Absence of communication device to support the
