Ultrasonic cleaningImmerse contaminated filter element into the ultrasonic bath <strong>for</strong>approx. 90 – 120 minutes, then flush with clean solvent. Then carefullyblow out filter element from the clean side in outward directionusing compressed air. As solvent, cleaning gasoline etc. may beused.2. Manual cleaningOnly <strong>for</strong> degree of filtration ≥ 40 µm.1 . Remove coarse external dirt with a brush or similar tool in aseparate cleaning container filled with solvent such as cleaninggasoline.2 . Put filter element into a clean <strong>liquid</strong> solvent (approx. 20minutes).3 . Flush filter element with <strong>liquid</strong> solvent from inside to outside.4 . Blow out filter element from the clean side in outward directionusing compressed air.With either method ascertain that no dirt can deposit on the inside(clean side) of the filterelement. Further it needs to be consideredthat the element will not damaged because of proper handling. Anentire cleaning (100 %) cannot be achieved (especially at a grade offiltration≤ 25 µm.
