<strong>Fastrax</strong> Software GNSSWhat is <strong>Fastrax</strong> Software GNSS?<strong>Fastrax</strong> Software GNSS performs all GNSS functionalitiesin software on an already existing CPU of thedevice, without the need of any GNSS specific IC. Thisincludes signal correlation, - acquisition and – trackingas well as pseudorange calculations, navigation andfinal output.<strong>Fastrax</strong> Software GNSS is a highly flexible receiver usingan RF Front-end as the only GNSS specific component.With a suitable RF front-end any existing and futureGNSS system can be utilized for navigation. This kindof receiver architecture is also the most cost-efficientcompared to any other GNSS receiver implementation.A software receiver can also be used to implementreceiver architectures that are not possible with atraditional hardware based solution and therefore e.g.extreme sensitivity or lowest possible power consumptioncan be achieved.
