Miles Hiebert said only that “our people gave them some assistance” in the probe. Herefused to elaborate.Robichaud said it appears the boy came into contact with the girl online through a “social networking group” other than Facebook. He had no information on the number of pictures thatmight have been sent, or on the length of time that the boy and girl had been in contact.“Parents have to be really careful of this stuff, and be aware of what their kids are looking at, where their kids are going and who they’re talking to,” Robichaud said. “With the Internetnowadays, and social networking with kids, it’s like being out in the world by yourself.”ross.romaniuk@sunmedia.caCopyright © 2011 Winnipeg Sun All Rights Reserved
