Year 10 ‐ 19 students left during the year, and134 graduated after achieving their <strong>School</strong>Certificates. Destination data, available for 31 ofthese students, indicates that 13 students haveapprenticeships, 12 are working, three attendTAFE and three students are undertaking schoolstudies elsewhere.Year 11 ‐ Destination data was available for 36 ofthe 53 student leavers: 12 employed (full‐timeand/or part‐time); five learning at TAFE oranother training organisation; 13 gainingapprenticeships or traineeships; and threeattending other schools.Year 12 ‐ There were 73 students in Year 12 inFebruary 2011. 66 students completed theirstudies, and seven students left during the year.For the students who completed their studies 18are attending university, 8 are attending TAFE, 11have apprenticeships or traineeships and 19 areemployed (full‐time and/or part‐time).As in previous years, eligible graduating HSCstudents received offers for a range of universitybachelor degree programs including:engineering, teaching, nursing, design, business,sport, social sciences, fine art, commerce, andbusiness.Year 12 students undertaking vocational ortrade trainingThirty four students attained a Certificate II in anAQF VET course with nine of these studentsstudying two VET courses.Year 12 students attaining HSC or equivalentvocational educational qualificationSixty six Year 12 students achieved the HSC whichrepresents 90.4% of the Year 12 studentsenrolled in February 2011In 2011, 34 students, or 46.6% of Year 12,attained qualifications across five vocationaleducation courses: Hospitality, Retail Services,Information technology, Construction and Metals& Engineering.Staff informationIt is a requirement that the reporting ofinformation for all staff must be consistent withprivacy and personal information policies. Theschool has a skilled teaching staff, with a strongcore of experience, as well as some fine youngand energetic educators.
