He was named <strong>to</strong> the position on September 14, 2005, and can be seen on KSTC-TV.TV, Channel 45, the <strong>Wild</strong>’s exclusive over-the-air broadcast partner and FSN North, the club’sexclusive cable telecast partner. Along with being the voice of <strong>Wild</strong> television broadcasts, he willbe fully integrated in<strong>to</strong> the organization’s communications, sponsorship, marketing and communityrelations’ efforts.Terhaar, 46 (11/20/61), also serves as the Sports Direc<strong>to</strong>r for WCCO Radio and was the play-byplayannouncer for KSTC-TV’s coverage of the <strong>Minnesota</strong> State High School League Tournamentsincluding boys’ and girls’ hockey and boys’ and girls’ basketball.Terhaar, a graduate of E.J. Cooper High School in New Hope, <strong>Minnesota</strong>, has an extensive background in the <strong>Minnesota</strong> sports scene. Overthe past few years, he has been the host of a number of weekly local sports magazine shows including the <strong>Minnesota</strong> <strong>Wild</strong>’s Call of the<strong>Wild</strong>, the <strong>Minnesota</strong> Swarm’s Inside Scoop and <strong>Minnesota</strong> Twins’ Inside Pitch magazine shows. Terhaar has also served as an announcer onVic<strong>to</strong>ry Sports, and was a host of a morning show on KSTP Radio AM 1500. He has a strong hockey background having served as the radiovoice of University of <strong>Minnesota</strong> Golden Gopher hockey from 1996 <strong>to</strong> 2003 on KSTP Radio. He also called college hockey games for St. CloudState and the University of North Dakota.Terhaar and his wife, Teresa, have three children, Ben, Hannah and Tom. The family resides in Andover, Minn.Mike GreenlayTELEVISION ANALYSTMike Greenlay enters his seventh year as the <strong>Minnesota</strong> <strong>Wild</strong>’s Television Analyst. The former goalie,who was named <strong>to</strong> the television analyst position on August 13, 2002, brings a unique perspective <strong>to</strong>the broadcast booth and provides in-depth analyst of the game both on and off the ice.Greenlay will partner with <strong>Wild</strong> television play-by-play announcer Dan Terhaar on KSTC-TV, Channel45, the club’s exclusive over-the-air broadcast partner and Fox Sports Net, the club’s exclusive cabletelecast partner. Along with his analyst duties, Greenlay is fully integrated in<strong>to</strong> the <strong>Wild</strong>’s communications,marketing and community relations’ efforts.Prior <strong>to</strong> joining the <strong>Wild</strong>, Greenlay, 40 (9/15/68), served as radio analyst for the Mighty Ducks ofAnaheim for two seasons (1999-2001). He began his broadcast career with the Hous<strong>to</strong>n Aeros in 1995 serving as the team’s radio and televisioncolor analyst for Fox Sports Southwest. Greenlay was the radio analyst for the Nashville Preda<strong>to</strong>rs during its inaugural 1998-99 season, while alsoworking as a television analyst for several networks. He spent three years as the television analyst for the Orlando Solar Bears on the SunshineNetwork and the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) on Fox Sports Detroit (1996-99). Greenlay also served as television analyst for theInternational Hockey League’s (IHL) Game of the Week (1995-99) and Turner Cup Finals (1995-99, 2001).He played professional hockey for six seasons (1989-95) as a goaltender for several NHL organizations including the Edmon<strong>to</strong>n Oilers, the PhiladelphiaFlyers and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Greenlay was a member of the 1988 Lake Superior State hockey team that won the NCAA Championship.He was also was a part of the Atlanta Knights 1994 IHL Turner Cup Championship team.Born in Brazil <strong>to</strong> Canadian parents, Greenlay was raised in Calgary, Alberta, and holds an undergraduate degree in E-Commerce from the Universityof Phoenix and a Masters degree in Project Management. Greenlay and his wife, Amy, have a daughter, Hals<strong>to</strong>n, and a son, Landon.
