The customer is encouragedto evaluate specific materials tothe requirements called for by theapplication.DUAL FUNCTIONALITYGASKETS, “CO-EXTRUSIONS”Co-extruded gaskets (dual gasketswith a conductive and non-conductiveelement cured in parallel)provide additional environmentalsealing and corrosion protection.Seam vulcanization ensures longterm integrity and stability.Co-extruded gaskets permit costeffectiveuse of existing flange designs,as well as attachment underthe less-expensive, non-conductivematerial. Compared to bondingand mounting separate gaskets,or double-groove designs, Co-extrudedgaskets offer design, costand handling advantages.
