14Seamen’s Memorial committee at their recent meeting the committee discussedthe wording of the plaques and agreed that there should be three categories –Those men who had been lost at sea and never accounted for would be described aslost.Those whose bodies had been found would be described as drowned and those whosubsequently died as a result of an accident at sea would be described as killed byaccident.
