14Seamen’s Memorial committee at their recent meeting the committee discussedthe wording of the plaques <strong>and</strong> agreed that there should be three categories –Those men who had been lost at sea <strong>and</strong> never accounted for would be described aslost.Those whose bodies had been found would be described as drowned <strong>and</strong> those whosubsequently died as a result of an accident at sea would be described as killed byaccident.
