It has been reported that hesuffered a massive heart attack.Mr McGowan was one of four members of staff from <strong>Buckie</strong> High School who wereaccompanying a 30 strong party of pupils who are engaged on an exchange visit.He had been a teacher at <strong>Buckie</strong> High since 1964 <strong>and</strong> before being promoted toAssistant Rector was PT of P.E.He was a keen golfer <strong>and</strong> last year was appointed captain of Buckpool Golf Club.He is survived by his wife <strong>and</strong> two sons.The <strong>Buckie</strong> cassette - 100 copies of the <strong>Buckie</strong> cassette are to be produced at acost of £4 a time.
