Bus Tram Division.My name is Mark Delohery I am a c<strong>and</strong>idate for the positions <strong>of</strong> Burwood Sub DivisionalRepresentative on Branch Divisional Committee (Burwood Executive Officer) <strong>and</strong>Delegate to National Council from N.S.W. Bus Tram Division.I have been employed as a bus operator for the past ten years. During this time I haveworked on the Union Committee, Roster Committee <strong>and</strong> represented the members at theDivisional <strong>and</strong> Branch Committee meetings.I also have held the positions <strong>of</strong> relief Executive Officer <strong>and</strong> Executive Officer at BurwoodDepot.The experience <strong>and</strong> training I have acquired over this time, with the support <strong>of</strong> the UnionCommittee has entrenched solidarity at the Depot with members wanting to be moreactively involved.This has encouraged member’s participation in recent campaigns which have achievedpositive results.The united st<strong>and</strong> shown by members across all depots ensured the Executive Committeeto maintain dominance throughout the EA <strong>and</strong> working party negotiations enabling us tosuccessfully settle on an EA that improved wages <strong>and</strong> conditions.I ask all members at Burwood Depot for their continued support <strong>and</strong> elect me to thepositions <strong>of</strong> Burwood Sub Divisional Representative on Branch Divisional Committee(Burwood Executive Officer) <strong>and</strong> Delegate to National Council from N.S.W.
