I have worked inthe industry since 1983, <strong>and</strong> as driver at Cronulla since 1999. I have been actively workingfor members at the workplace <strong>and</strong> more generally as Sub-Divisional President for the pastfive years, <strong>and</strong> as relief in the union head <strong>of</strong>fice for the past 18 months.MarkMcClymontIn these capacities I am familiar with <strong>and</strong> have helped members with a wide range <strong>of</strong>issues <strong>and</strong> concerns at Cronulla, <strong>and</strong> more broadly across the industry. If we are tocontinue to effectively represent <strong>and</strong> defend members pay <strong>and</strong> conditions at a time whenthey are under attack from hostile employers <strong>and</strong> the federal government Workchoiceslegislation, we need a strong <strong>and</strong> united leadership team.We have been able to successfully maintain our members working conditions <strong>and</strong> defendagainst these attacks through negotiating collective agreements with good outcomes forour members.
