ELECTRICAL SYSTEMGLASS MATT (AGM) BATTERIES (Option)In AGM sealed batteries, the acid is absorbed between the plates and immobilizedby a very fine fiberglass mat. No silica gel is necessary. This glass mat absorbs andimmobilizes the acid while still keeping the acid available to the plates. This allows afast reaction between acid and plate material.Battery Maintenance is an important issue. The battery should be cleaned using abaking soda and water mix; a couple of table spoons to a pint of water. The 12-volt light bulbs give offthe same light as regular household bulbs, so that when operating on self-containedbattery power, everything works normally except the 110-volt convenience outlets and110-volt appliances.
