The 100 r. contemporarilydefective but a pretty cover paying the newly introduced UPU 260 reis rate. 65+ 57 6 150 (€ 125)100 r. green, a horizontal strip of five used on Boris Frères 1877 cover from Céarà to Parisat double rate with single 20 r. reddish lilac, all tied by segmented cork handstamps in black.Ceara despatch cds below (Oct 12) and thence via Pernambuco and carried on the Paquebot'Orenoque' with reverse showing superb PERNAMBUCO / PAQ.
