STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENTS1. Ar tin C. Kevin (09-PH-26) won the best singer award with cash prize Rs. 3000/- organized by Angel TV. He won the best vocalist award with cash prize2000/- in an event “Sing to the king” organized by Jaya TV. His achievements also include singing in cassettes. 2. Mr. M.S. Kumar (09-PH-37) has done theorchestration and played Piano for the cultural festival in WCC and <strong>Meg</strong>afest in MIT. 3. Mr. Joel Simon (09-PH-15) was the drummer in the cultural festival in WCCand in <strong>Meg</strong>a fest in MIT. 4. Mr. A. Anand (09-PH- 16) won the best lead guitar in WCC. 5. The inter departmental Carols singing Competition was conducted in ourcollege for the first time. Our students Mr. A. Mr. Aneesh (09-PH-47) was the judge for a city level parliamentary debate organized by India Post. He is one amongthe 14 who were selected in the campus recruitment conducted by Face Book in India. He is the Head of logistics of “Jerome D’Souza Memorial NationalParliamentary Debate” a national event. He is the secretary of the <strong>Loyola</strong> Society of Debates. Shylesh Antony George (10-PH-214) participatedin Prime Minister’s rally, selected for youth exchange program to foreign countries, has won the gold medal for all India best briefer award, has attended all Indiamarching contingent and attended all India NCC camp in New Delhi, he is an all India reserve best cadet. 7. J. Sajai (10-PH-228) has attended all India Nau-Sainikcamp in Vishakapattinam and has represented Tamil Nadu directorate. 8. A. Jinu(09-PH-34) won the 3 rd prize in Interdepartment 400m 1 st & 2 nd division race. He also won the 2 nd prize in high jump. 4. The shift –II students were the runners up in Cricket and Ball Badmintonmatches for the academic year 2011-2012. They also were the semi-finalists in Basket ball and Table Tennis. 5.
