Motivation• The RFID <strong>and</strong> position<strong>in</strong>g system technologies are the key enablers <strong>for</strong>logistics supply cha<strong>in</strong> visibility <strong>and</strong> track<strong>in</strong>g– <strong>Track</strong><strong>in</strong>g of the cargo which may be at risk of miss<strong>in</strong>g, off-load<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> delay,especially if the cargo is critical or perishable– Trac<strong>in</strong>g delivery status <strong>for</strong> customers has been one of the ma<strong>in</strong> hassles <strong>for</strong> logisticcompanies.
