Microfluidic Test Station(S-Station STS 200)S-Station STS 200 is a microfluidic test station that integrates the functions ofpump, flow control, leak-proof fluidic interface, optical observation and image/videorecording into one complete system. The test station is specifically designed foranalysis or study of microfluidics; and components such as micromixers, microvalves and microfilters can readily be analysed by using this test station. It isuser-friendly and suited as a R&D tool for lab-on-a-chip applications or amicrofluidic experimental kit for educational purposes. The test station consists ofimaging system, pump module and universal microfluidic chipholder. The imaging system includes a high-resolution digital microscope, top and bottomLED illumination, and digital image processing software. Examination can be carriedout on live image displayed or still image can be captured and post-analysed. Videocan also be captured using the system for documentation of dynamic phenomenonstudied. The standard pump module operates two pump units, with syringe capacity up to60 ml. The setup of parameters such as flow rate or volume dispensed is carriedout via computer with the software provided. Both pump units can be controlledjointly or independently as required by users. The universal microfluidic chipholder (base plate and fluidic probes) ensures leak-free fluidic connection between chip and tubing under flow pressure up to 6 bar. Itprovides great flexibility in connecting microfluidic chips with different dimensionsand fluidic access configurations. The open structure also allows ample viewingwindow, which can be adjusted by moving the X-Y stage.SyringePumpsDigitalMicroscopeFluidic ProbesX-Y StageBase PlateS-Station STS 200 consists of digital microscope, two pump units, X-Ystage, and universal microfluidic chipholder. It is supplied with software forflow control and image processing.
