(h)39background to the Draft Estimates and draw attention to thosematters which the Committee feels should be the subject for suchParliamentary debate; andto make such recommendations as the Committee sees fit andsubsequently receive comments and reports on suchrecommendations from the Government.(2) The Auditor-General or his nominee shall be the Secretary to theCommittee and shall make available to the Committee the services of hisstaff and other facilities of his office.70. PARLIAMENTARY HOUSE COMMITTEELN 23/1995(1) There shall be a Standing Select Committee designated theParliamentary House Committee whose functions shall be -(a)to consider and advise appropriate authorities on such mattersthat are connected with Members' terms and conditions ofservice;(b) to oversee and supervise matters connected with themanagement and administration of the facilities and property ofParliament which are not provided for in any other specific rulesor regulations;(c)(d)(e)(f)to consider, decide on and advise Parliament on all matters thatare connected with Parliamentary business for its meetings andsittings;to examine and make recommendations on any matters which areconnected with the provisions of sections 62 and 69 of theConstitution;to make rules and guidelines governing the Members' use ofParliament facilities;to report regularly to Parliament of any action taken pursuant tothese Orders.71. BILLS AND LEGISLATION COMMITTEELN 23/1995There shall be a Standing Select Committee designated the Bills and LegislationCommittee whose functions, in addition to the provisions of orders 50 and 55,shall be to -(a) examine such matters as may be referred to it by Parliament orthe Government;(b) review all draft legislation prepared for introduction intoParliament;(c) examine all subsidiary legislation made under any Act so as toensure compliance with the Acts under which they are made;
