Too muchnoise results in a loss of diagnosticinformation. The OpTime is designedwith a short light path from the imagingplate to the photomultiplier tube tominimize the noise in the signal. Theresult is an optimized, crystal clearimage with a very low level of noise.OpTimeFilmUnderexposedProper exposureOverexposedWide Dynamic RangeAn often-overlooked factor in an imagingsystem is its dynamic range. A widedynamic range means the system canproduce quality images over a broad rangeof x-ray exposure values. Film and somesensor systems require very specific valuesto achieve proper results. This can resultin inconsistent results. The dynamic rangeof the OpTime means consistent resultswithout having to change exposure settingsfor each patient. It also makes it compatiblewith both AC and DC x-ray systems.

Image enhancementsand archivingComprehensive imaging software is available for keeping your patients’images organized and quickly accessible. With this software, a fullselection of image enhancement tools is at your disposal to provide youwith the maximum amount of diagnostic information from full-mouthseries, bite-wing, periapical radiographs and color images.
