Ltd.entered an abnormal year- 2008.Summoned by the holy fire of Beijing OlympicGames, we will pursue the best historicalrecord just like athletes, turning 2008 into our"Efficient Year".Facing the pressure of traffic control duringOlympic Games and the start of the thirdproduction line (EM3) in second half, we makeconcerted efforts to improve productive capacityand rapidly complete the annual plan in first half,producing 4,450,000 household refrigeratorcompressors, making profits 2.56 times higherthan 2007, raising productivity per hour upto 20%, successfully developing a new stylecompressor which is of the highest efficiency inthe world and completing EM3 as scheduled.In high-speed development, we also finddeficiency: detail is a key of strengtheningthe leading position of an enterprise. In addition, the Company attaches exceptionalimportance on the control of poisonous and hazardous substances in raw materials, for which the company has developed morestringent standards by referring to EU RoHS Directive and REACHIn 2008, the Company was confronted with the largest challenge in logistics, that is, the pressure of supply and inventory arisingfrom the transportation control during the period of the Olympic Games. Under the cooperation of the departments, the raw materialsupply work was smoothly completed during this period. The influence of the Olympic Games ever pushed the raw material inventoryto a high level.
