Rippling towards the coast the wide rolling landscape is a wonderful mix of forest and farmland, with uninterrupted views broken only by the occasional church spire or windmill. Visit art galleries and studios to sample the work of local artists and take home a truly original souvenir. Why not visit the regular craft and collectables market at Downham Market. Check out some of the excellent theatre and arts venues, or plan your visit during one of the many festivals taking place each year (see pages 14 to 16 for details).
