The vulcanization is accelerated to an extent that<strong>Rhenofit</strong> 1987 may also be used as a secondary accelerator. The vulcanizationplateau is extended, hence the physical properties are improved. <strong>Rhenofit</strong> 1987increases the hardness of the vulcanizates and enhances the transparency ofthe compounds. In cellular compounds (open and closed cells) the blowingagent is activated and the vulcanizate is deodorized.When used as a promoter and dispersing agent for fillers, <strong>Rhenofit</strong> 1987 shouldbe incorporated together with the fillers. In order to achieve the topmost effectivenessit is advisable to add the zinc oxide at the end of the mixing cycle.As secondary accelerator a dosage of 2-6 phr, as promotor for reinforcing fillers5-10 % calculated on the amount of filler. As promoter for blowing agents 2-6phr. In rubber articles which come in contact with foodstuffs max. 9 %,calculated on the finished article.Technical rubber articles of all kinds which contain light-colored reinforcingfillers, e.g. molded shoe soles, rubber sheets, floor coverings, household, andleisure articles, cellular compounds.According to recommendation XXI of the BfR (German Federal Institute forRisk Assessment) - <strong>Rhenofit</strong> 1987 can be used in rubber articles which come incontact with foodstuffs.Packaging25 kg carton PE bag inside on 600 kg skid<strong>Rhenofit</strong> 1987 Version: 5/20.
