Junior PRDBehind the lead trio Schartaubattled with Michael Reehland Myles Farhan. Sawyersaved the best for last as hesnaked by his competitors tograb the win over Garza andCartier. Reehl and Schartaucompleted the top five a fewsecond back.KPV Junior 2: ParkerThompson put a half secondon the field in KPV Junior 2qualifying. Brandon Reedand Brenden Baker were thebest of the rest sitting P2 andP3 respectively. As expectedThomson sped off to an easyvictory in the prefinal. HaleyJenni kicked it up a notch tofinish in 2nd place with JasonHannegan finishing 3rd. Thefinal was a snoozer after thefirst two laps as Thompsonwent flag to flag for the win,his second on the day. Jenniran her entire race in 2ndplace as Hannegan did thesame for 3rd. The only actionwas late in the contest andRoyal McKeeBaker and Reed exchanged4th and 5th place positions.Reed ended up besting Bakerfor 4th place.Rotax Senior: The finalevent of the day was RotaxSr. and qualifying was a nailbiter. Jeremy Kane procuredthe pole by just inches overJohn Wallace III, Scott Saundersand Matt Hart. Wallaceand Kane fell back in the prefinalas Saunders took the win.Wallace fought his way backup to 2nd and started outsiderow one for the final. Saunderswas the quickest in the finaland looked good for the firstplace trophy. Another thrownchain cost Saunders his podiumposition, but this time heremained in the seat, put thechain back on and continuedto finish his race nearly a lapdown. Wallace ran solo in 2ndplace then took over the leadfrom Saunders. Kane too wasalone for 3rd before being elevatedto 2nd. Only Hart andJill Boddy were anywherenear each other on track.
