Peter Alcantara first came to one of our seminars in the Philippinesin the early 1990s. The Word of God touched his heart, he immersedhimself in it, and stood as a faithful warrior for the Lord until theday he fell asleep (Feb. 25, 2008).With his cheerful disposition and his unwavering trust in God, hewas a bright light for the Lord, and he is sorely missed by his wife,Ely, and his children Peterly Anthropos, Mae Diadem A. Abrea,Richer, Kristianne, and all the brethren. The Lord Jesus misses Petertoo, and is looking forward to seeing him again at his appearing.through governance or finances. We all recognizedthe need to promote liberty and independence. Forthe rest of the week we explored many conceptssuch as team ministry, godly communication,conflict resolution, authority in the Body ofChrist, spiritual gifts and calling, outreach, andgovernance.I believe that truly spiritual goals, wheninspired by God or the Lord Jesus, require spiritualmeans to be accomplished. The only way we willbe able to achieve our vision of an enduring workof truth in the Philippines, and the world, is byhelping men and women maximize their fullspiritual potential in Christ. This work will takesacrifice, and it will take walking by the spirit!Praise God, Peter was correct, there was asynergy in the room, and we all could feel theenergy that comes from being united in the samevision.
