Lu Jun’sethereal images create poetic landscapes, which are at oncehistorical references to centuries of shuimohua and dynamic,contemporary works.Existing as independent and intriguingly three-dimensionalcompositions, they actively demand attention. His interests lie in the two sides of his life andcharacter. People viewing his work might hardly concludethat he is a countryside child from a remote mountain inChongqing. Due to his traditional family education and smalltown upbringing, he is honest, frank, warm-hearted and a bittaciturn in daily life. But on the Internet he is very cunning andverbal. Poshui’s double-sided character now seems to be atrue reality instead of a deception.
