Snap on the air box top making surethe round cut out fits into the gap left in between thefilter and the filter inlet funnel. Make sure all the hoseclamps are tight.2000 Integra GSRAir Filter MaintenanceThe Comptech/Uni high-flo air filter needs to be maintained toinsure the flow of clean unobstructed air to the engine. The airfilter should be inspected at every oil change and cleaned andre-oiled at every-other oil change. The filter should be cleanedand oiled with specific filter cleaner and oil to insure good performanceand long filter life.Cleaning – Spray generous amounts of filter cleaner over allexposed surfaces of the filter and let it soak for approximately 3minutes. Rinse out the filter element in warm water until clean.A second application of cleaner may be applied if filter is stilldirty. When the filter foam is dry completely, re-oil filter as notedbelow. Note: DO NOT use any type of petroleum based cleanersor solvents to clean the Comptech filter. This will destroy thefilter.2000 Integra GSROiling – It is necessary to treat the filter with oil for it to performproperly. Thoroughly spray all exposed surfaces of the filterwith oil and let stand for 2 to 3 minutes and repeat spraying.Much of the oil will soak in quickly, leaving an even penetrationof sticky air filter oil on each foam strand. This coating traps dirtwithout restricting airflow.4
